Turbine Blade Cooling Holes Drilling

The High Pressure Stage Turbine Blades and Vanes Having fine Colling Holes to produce film cooling on the aerofoil surface. Holes are oriented in compound angle and having very very fine sizes with tight tolerances. These holes can be manufactured sucessfully by using Laser Drilling or EDM drilling techniques.The Electron Beam method is one of the upcoming technique.
